Kiedy w górach topnieją śniegi i słońce wznosi się nad szczytami, z dolin i wsi wyruszają pasterze ze stadami. Witają górskie hale śpiewem, słychać pobekiwanie owiec i okrzyki juhasów. Wtórują im
owcze dzwonki, które odpędzają złe moce i duchy, niosą wiosenną radość i nadzieję na urodzajne lato. „Redyk” to coroczny rytuał i wędrówka po znajomych szlakach, pożegnanie i powitanie. Droga, która kończy się przy dźwiękach podhalańskiej kozy i gruzińskiej gudastviri, przy muzyce tych, którzy ciągle są w drodze...

When the snow melts in the mountains and the sun rises high above the peaks, the shepherds set off from valleys and villages with their herds. The meadows are greeted with song, bleating of sheep and the
shepherds’ cries. The sheep bells reply in turn, warding off evil spirits, and bringing spring joy and the hope for a good summer. “Redyk”, or trailing of the sheep, is an annual ritual and a trek along familiar
routes - both a welcome and a good bye. The journey end is filled with the sounds of Polish highlanders’ bagpipes and Georgian Gudastviri, the music of those who are still on the road…
