Dostojna góra Giewont, zwana „Śpiącym Rycerzem” to symbol Podtatrza. Legenda głosi, a „najstarsi
górale” potwierdzają, że w turniach Giewontu śpi zaklęte wojsko króla polskiego Bolesława Śmiałego, które zbudzi się, gdy przyjdzie czas... Muzyczny hołd, który brzmi jak pogańska modlitwa, tajemniczemu szczytowi składa Władysław Trebunia-Tutka, kronikarz dawnej góralszczyzny, artysta plastyk, wybitny mistrz tradycyjnej góralskiej muzyki i jego syn Krzysztof, żyjący i tworzący w cieniu Giewontu.

The majestic Giewont, a mountain also referred to as the “Sleeping Knight”, is a symbol of Podtatrze region. The legend says, as confirmed by the oldest highlanders, that the mountain shelters the knights of the Polish king Bolesław Śmiały, sleeping under a magical spell, only to be broken when the time comes…
Władysław Trebunia-Tutka, a chronicler of old dialect from the region, a painter and master of traditional highlander music, together with his son Krzysztof, who lives and works in the shadow of Giewont, pay musical tribute to the mysterious peak, reminiscent of a pagan prayer.
